Jay Peak is the closest thing to the west coast on the east. A lot of mountains in the east offer glades. Jay specializes in them. Located in the northern tip of Vermont, its location makes for awesome terrian on and off the trail. Eight lifts cover this peak, including a 60 passenger tram! Not to be skipped over if up for the haul. |
Okemo is one of my favorite mountains on the north east. It boasts over 100 trails with tons of bark chewing glades. Versatile terrain and great people make this hill worth the hype. |
Stratton is a popular stop in Vermont. Easily holding bragging rights of over 90 acres of glades and almost 100 trails, and with 95% of the mountain covered in top notch snow making equipment, this mountain is known for great snow even when mother nature takes a week off. |
Killington has enough terrain to keep you busy all weekend. With over 1215 acres of beautiful trails and 200 trails you wont get bored easily. Some of the best snowmaking in the northeast only helps making this mountain one of the kings of Vermont. |
Mount Snow delivers a huge variety of terrain in a decent sized package. Were talking numerous parks, trails and backwoods to make your legs burn and your mouth smile. 107 trails and 98 acres of blissful glades keep people coming back all winter. |
