I got these gloves the other day off of www.brociety.com for around $20.00. Originally, priced for $50 I figured it was a good deal. However, before I even get started let me inform you that they are on sale at www.backcountry.com for only $15!
First impressions of the gloves were that the colors from the online picture vs. the actual gloves are a little off. All the colors are a bit darker, including the brown and green.
They are thicker than I had expected. With a nice soft and warm fleece-like interior, these gloves will definitely keep your hands warm on a cold day. However, they are also thin and waterproof meaning they will also work great for some spring riding. No more sopping wet heavy mittens with these on my hands.
They even came with a small sample of some NIKWAX waterproofing leather wax. Rock on Burton, you may not get it right ALL the time, but you sure do a hell of a job most of the time. I would recommend the Burton Staple gloves to all my friends.

To follow up the post about our favorite Flickr snowboard photography, BND presents the 10 most amazing skateboard shots found. Judgement was based on many factors such as composition, action, lighting and basically just how sweet that shot looked. No need for further explanation.
These photos do not belong to me and each one is linked back to the original source
There are so many other good photos on Flickr, with more being uploaded everyday. I will have to post another top 10 later this year.

Matt Fries, a good friend of Boards and Decks, had a few photos taken of him standing in front of the 78 foot kicker at Okemo Mountain in Vermont. These images were then given to Ross Brier, the founder of Panty Tree Productions, and made into an 11″ x 17″ poster.

Feel free to take it to your local print shop (or Staples®) to get printed.
